Bradda Head Holdings Ltd (AIM:BHL), the North America-focused lithium development group, has announced three key senior appointments.

Adam Hawkins has been appointed as the environmental, social and governance (ESG) officer, Don Hains as a technical consultant and Dr Yatendra Sharma as a lithium processing consultant.

Hawkins is an expert in the ESG field and his role will be to ensure that all environmental, social and governance matters are conducted as sustainably as possible, in line with environmental regulations.

Hains is an experienced industrial minerals and exploration and economic geologist and the author of the CIM Best Practice Guidelines for Reporting of Lithium Brine Resources and Reserves.

Dr Sharma has more than 47 years of experience at top management levels in various multinational companies and is also the inventor of 16 battery patents (including Li-ion batteries and processing of Li from its ore and electrodes materials).

“As ESG reporting becomes increasingly necessary in our industry, Adam will be a vital link between the company and our sustainability commitments, and he brings with him experience from both the public and private sectors. Don and Yatendra are well known to the company and are already working alongside our team, to help optimise lithium processing and resource evaluation to ensure Bradda maximises its potential,” said Charles FitzRoy, the chief executive officer of Bradda Head.

"Given our recently-commenced planned exploration drilling programmes, Adam, Don and Yatendra's appointments come at an opportune time, and we are confident that they will be able to continue the great work already carried out and help us develop operations and further realise our resource potential,” he added.
